Clear Aligner │ Invisible splints to correct crooked teeth

In modern orthodontics there are so-called clear aligners available to correct crooked teeth. These are transparent dental splints which, unlike conventional braces, are hardly noticeable and are comfortable to wear. At the same time, clear aligners are easy to remove and therefore make oral hygiene easier.  

We at wimberger ZAHNÄRZTE work with Invisalign®, one of the most advanced transparent aligner systems in the world. The SmartTrack® material from which the splints are made is highly elastic and thus ensures that the splints fit comfortably.

Your teeth are corrected with Invisalign® in three steps: 

1. In the first step, we check whether you are eligible for treatment. If this is the case, we take X-rays and an impression of your teeth.
   
   
2. A little later you will receive a number of aligners that are individually tailored to you and that you wear for at least 22 hours a day. Then you need to replace the splint every 1 to 2 weeks. 
   
   
3. In regular practice appointments - approximately every 6 to 8 weeks - we check the progress and you receive new aligners.
